Nike’s E-Bike Loaner Program: How A Small Pilot Changed The Way Employees Move
As a way to switch its workforce over to the bike commute life, this fortune 500 company allows employees to borrow an e-bike, helmet, and lock for a month — all for the nominal fee of $25! As part of the experience, the apparel giant offers low-cost maintenance for bikes; has employees take a safety class before the trial period; and surveys them before and after to gauge behavior change. The program started small, and then scaled up the program after it proved successful; the waiting list to borrow at e-bike is long!
